Meet the screen with a lot less bezel, and a lot more view
Behind Galaxy A71's symmetrically aligned 6.7"" Infinity-O Display, Super AMOLED Plus color technology delivers real-to-life color in everything you watch and do—from gaming and movies, to web-surfing and multi-tasking. Start enjoying more of what you love, without the screen getting in your way.

Captivating pastel colors paired with a dynamic pattern
With its smooth, elegant curved-edge screen design, Galaxy A71 is beautiful to look at and fits comfortably in your hand. Its premium gloss finish makes it easy to hold, and the rhythmical pattern adds a unique touch of personality to each of its Prism Crush Black, Silver and Blue editions.

More cameras to capture more of your world
Whether the moment calls for a close-up, an ultra-wide shot, a nighttime photo, or some artistic Bokeh blur, the A71 Quad Cam delivers with pro-level quality and ease. From a 64MP Main Cam to a 123° 12MP Ultra Wide Cam, to a 5MP Macro Cam and 5MP Depth Cam, A71 is ready for any moment.

Expand your shot with Ultra Wide Cam
Capture the wider world with the Ultra Wide Camera's wider field of vision. The 123-degree angle of view is similar to human sight, which means less panning when you’re getting that perfect cityscape shot.

Macro Cam brings tiny details into the spotlight
Quad Cam’s built-in 5MP Macro Cam (40mm) shoots with clarity and quality helping you bring out the ultra-fine details of your close-up shots. Apply and adjust natural background blur (Bokeh) to isolate your subject and increase its visual impact.

Super Steady shoots everyday action with impressive stability
Galaxy A71 records like a high-quality action camera utilizing the Ultra Wide Camera and predictive software. Super Steady gives you smooth live videos, even when your journey is on the adventurous side.

Blur out what's behind, bring out what's in front
The 5MP Depth Camera lets you adjust the depth of field before and after you nail the shot. It reduces unwanted background noise from your images to make them look more professional.

Selfie Focus captures more you in your selfies
You want your selfie to look good. So for stunning daytime looks, Galaxy A71's 32MP front camera gives you clear, high-resolution photos. And with Selfie focus to gently blur the background, your face becomes the star.

Enough power to maximize your day
When out living life, you need a phone that can last. Galaxy A71's 4,500mAh (typical)* battery gives you the power to stream, share and game on. And if you start running low, plug in and power up with 25W Super-Fast Charging.

Powerful performance to do more
Galaxy A71 has fast processing and spacious storage so you can focus on now. An advanced Octa-core processor and up to 8GB of RAM deliver smooth and efficient performance. Download more and delete less with up to 128GB internal storage. Add even more with a 512GB microSD card.

Play longer and stronger with Game Booster
Maximize performance with Game Booster. Cut distractions and up your game with a dedicated interface and easy-to-reach menu. Frame Booster gives graphics smooth, life-like motion. And play at your best as Game Booster learns your usage patterns to optimize battery, temperature and memory.

Defense-grade security available to everyone
Built into the phone's hardware and software from the start, Samsung Knox protects your phone from the minute it's turned on. Offering multi-layered security, it defends your most sensitive information from malware and malicious threats.

Your fingerprint is the key
Galaxy A71 comes with high-tech biometric authentication. The On-Screen Fingerprint scanner provides easy and secure access to your phone. Simply press down on the designated fingerprint area to unlock.

Do more with Bixby
Bixby Routines
Galaxy A71 adapts to your life, reducing blue light and turning on Night mode to get your eyes ready for bed. It even keeps your phone unlocked and plays music when you get in your car. Or you can customize to your needs with My Routine.
Bixby Vision
Get the information you need, faster, with Bixby's next-level vision intelligence. Bixby Vision is built right into your camera app to make life more efficient for you. Translate restaurant menus with ease and search for that furniture you saw at a party by simply scanning it.

Made to focus

Factors to consider before making a purchase

Operating system

1) Android

Google's highly flexible software powers the most diverse collection of phones. You can customize the home screen, change keyboards and more. Samsung, HTC, Lenovo, Huawei, Obi, Wiko, Hisense, Vsun and others provide their own user interface to enhance the experience.

2) iOS

Apple's operating system for the iPhone has a very intuitive interface and the largest collection of high-quality apps. iPhones are also known for their sleek designs and top-notch cameras.

3) Windows

Microsoft's platform has an attractive, dead-simple interface made of "live tiles" that show updates from your email, social networks and other services. Also includes mobile versions of Word, Excel and Internet Explorer.

4) Blackberry

Made for business, Black Berries have the most secure email systems, along with an attractive interface that aggregates all your updates in one place.

Screen

Do you need a phone with a large screen, small screen, a physical keyboard? Maybe you absolutely need Messenger Services, Email Services, or a phone with an awesome camera. Choosing both AMOLED & LCD are nice type of screens in their own ways. Be sure to pay attention to the resolution (you want at least 800×480 pixels for a great experience). If you can, find a phone with a 720p or 1280×720 pixel resolution, that’s top of the line. Anything with the word “Retina” in the title would add more value.

Dual-core processor

A phone with at least a dual-core processor would be recommended, as it will have a longer shelf life than a phone with a single-core CPU. You can go with dual-core or even quad-core processor. This configuration on a smartphone is equivalent to a pocket PC.

4G LTE

The term 4G LTE is really two terms. 4G means the fourth generation of data technology for cellular networks LTE stands for Long Term Evolution and is short for a very technical process for high-speed data for phones and other mobile devices. Together, they make 4G LTE. Being the fastest network available means download speeds four to five times faster than 3G LTE networks. If you are on a telecom operator that supports 4G LTE, then make sure you get a phone that supports the feature. You may not feel that LTE is important now, but remember that you might be getting a phone for two years. 4G LTE is worth the jump.

Battery life

The difference between a phone with great battery life and a phone with poor battery life is night and day. Battery life only gets worse with time. If your phone cannot hold a charge all day when you buy it, it’s going to be much worse in 12-24 months.

Camera

Picture and video capture quality is not just determined by your smartphone's resolution, but also the ability to deliver a good image in different lighting situations. If you use your phone as a camera you may want to look for a model with a dedicated camera button rather than having to hunt through the menu system to capture the perfect selfie. An LED flash can be very useful too when you're taking a photo with a mobile, especially when the available light isn't very good. And if you look for a phone with a front-facing camera, this lets you use your phone for video calls as well.

Headphone connection type

A phone with a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack will let you use a standard set of headphones to listen to music, while a proprietary connection forces you to use special headphones that are often pricey and of dicey quality.

Memory card

Mobiles with memory card slots have the option of expanded memory to store photos, videos and music. Check to see the exact type of memory you'll need, as there are quite a few different options for expandable memory.

GPS

While most smartphones provide support for online map services like Google Maps, a dedicated GPS chip using an offline navigation application allows you to use your phone to find out exactly where you are without having to use your mobile phone network. The GPS score is calculated using the included software only.

Reception

Getting a network signal remains the crucial factor in daily use of a smartphone, although more and more of us are taking advantage of hotspots and Wi-Fi areas to communicate via social networking. But if you still use your smartphone for making phone calls, or you want to go online away from a Wi-Fi hotspot, you need good reception. Before buying your next smartphone, make sure it is optimized for your mobile network.
